West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin's campaign is promoting the wackiest contest ever - he's giving away a autographed toy laser gun to a supporter that votes for their favorite "Crazy Ideas" spoof.
Crazy ideas is a reference to a proposal from Manchin's opponent, John Raese, who once said he wants to put a defense system of 1000 lasers in space. I don't know what's wackier, Raese's proposal, or Manchin's Internet contest.
